DOZENS of residents and local groups raised concerns about anti-social behaviour at a town drop-in session.

More than 150 people attended a drop-in session in Padiham as part of a series of events aimed at highlighting the work being done to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in the town.

The event, held at the town’s fire station and attended by Burnley Council and Lancashire Police, also gave people the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about what is happening to tackle local problems.

CCTV coverage, issues around drugs, and youth nuisance were among the topics raised.

Cllr Lian Pate, who chairs the MATAC group, said: “I’d continue to encourage anyone with any information about crime and anti-social behaviour in Padiham to either contact the police on 101 or the council."
