A MAN has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in a brawl outside a takeaway.
Police said the man was stabbed in the thigh during an altercation outside a pub in Church Street, Padiham.
The incident happened at around 6.45pm on Saturday and officers said they were contacted by the owner of Caledonia Chicken who reported seeing a number of men involved in an altercation outside his shop.

A 40-year-old man from Padiham was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment on a deep cut to the thing. His injury is not said to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made. No suspect descriptions have been released.
Police have stepped up patrols in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 1238 of June 3.
