Burst pipe leaves many homes without water
A BURST water pipe in Padiham has left many homes with low water pressure or without water.
The burst pipe on Barrowford Road near the Padiham bypass is affecting homes in BB9 and BB12 postcodes, and was reported at 6am this morning.

A United Utilities spokesman said: “We now know it was a pipe 6 inches in diameter that burst in the Grass verge next to the highway.”
“We received approximately 50 calls about the incident and we are working as quickly as possible to get it fixed.”
“We don’t currently know where about the burst pipe is and how many homes its currently effecting.”
