THE annual Hapton Valley disaster memorial service will take place on March 18.
This year marks 56 years since 19 miners died and more than 20 other were seriously injured following the fatal explosion.
The remembrance service will take place at 12pm at the memorial stone in Burnley Cemetery, Rossendale Road.
Cllr Bob Clark and his fellow Hapton Valley Memorial Funds trustee Archer Lee said all are welcome to attend.
