A MOTORCYCLIST remains in a critical condition in intensive care after he lost control of his bike in Cliviger.

The 21-year-old man came off the bike as he drove along Long Causeway on March 30.

Police said he lost control on a bend and fell off as the motorbike hurtled over a wall. No other vehicles were involved.

The man was airlifted to hospital after the accident.

Any witnesses are asked to call Burnley Police on 01282 472132.
