Cider festival comes to Cliviger

A FOUR-WEEK cider festival will bring a taste of summer to a Cliviger pub.
The Ram Inn (pictured), in Burnley Road, will host the celebration which will showcase original and specially-created ciders.
Ruth Turner, from the Stonegate Pub Company which owns and operates The Ram, said: “Cider has become a really popular drink and we’re delighted to be able to offer our customers ciders from the Orchard Pig which is a relatively small cider maker.
“People may not have had the chance to taste their ciders before but I’d strongly recommend trying one or two.”
