A MAN has been charged following a collision which saw a motorcyclist taken to hospital.
Carl Jane, 31, of Red Lees Road, Cliviger, has been charged with drink driving and failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision.
A 34-year-old motorcyclist suffered a suspected fractured wrist in a collision which happened on Burnley Road, Cliviger, on Friday night.
He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital, with what were originally thought to be leg, back and arm injuries, and has since been released.
The incident happened at 11pm when a Toyota Aygo was in collision with a Husqvarna motorcycle.
Jane has been released on bail to appear at Burnley Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 3.
