A 40-YEAR-OLD woman was airlifted to hospital when the car she was driving crashed into a lampost and a wall.
The smash happened in Red Lees Road, in Cliviger, at the junction with Burnley Road at around 12.30pm yesterday (WED).
Police said Burnley Road was closed to its junction with Todmorden Road until around 2pm.
The driver of the black Renault Clio, who was travelling alone, was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor neck and chest injuries.
Lancashire County Council was called to fix the lampost.
