POLICE in Briercliffe are warning youngsters caught riding mini motos and trial bikes illegally they could have their vehicles crushed.
The warning follows a number of complaints from people about youths riding the bikes on land near Balderstone Lane.
Police say they have already seized one vehicle so it could be crushed.
Local residents have complained about the noise the bikes have been making and anti-social behaviour and police have also expressed concerns over the dangers of riding the bikes illegally, or without the correct safety equipment.
Officers will be keeping a check on the land over the next few months.
