A SELL-out 1940s Remembrance Sunday concert at Foulridge Social Club raised more than £750 for the RAF Wings appeal.
A committee spokesman said: “The entire club was transformed for the day, with memorabilia from the era.
“The members and guests also gave full support by wearing themed costumes. It will now be an annual event.”
Entertainment was provided by the nationally acclaimed 1940s tribute singer, Heather Marie, with sing-along background music and sound effects during the intervals.
