Colne man found near car was ‘out of it’ on pills

A MAN seen crouched down by a vehicle by a police officer was “out of it” on tablets for depression, a court heard.

Burnley magistrates were told how Benjamin Kenyon, 30, was flouting a conditional discharge imposed for criminal damage.

Kenyon, of Mabel Street, Colne, admitted interfering with a vehicle.

The defendant, who had spent 30 hours in custody, received a 12 month community order, with supervision and must pay £200 compensation to the car owner
