REALITY TV star Joey Essex has pulled out of an appearance at a Burnley nightclub.

The promoter, who stars in ITV2’s The Only Way Is Essex, had hired out the former Fusion nightclub in Hammerton Street for a ‘celebrity’ event on June 8.

But nightclub bosses have revealed that he has had to cancel the date because of filming commitment.

A spokesman for the nightclub said on its Facebook page: “Unfortunately, due to TV filming commitments and clauses in contracts to that effect, the promoters of the Joey Essex Reem Party have had to cancel the event.

“Please accept our apologies if you were looking forward to this, but keep an eye on our Facebook page as we are currently organising a replacement night on June 8.”
