A MAN is searching for a car enthusiast to take a 60-year-old vintage Triumph off his hands.

Barry Cardwell bought the 1951 Mayflower earlier this year from a family friend after spotting it in a driveway.

But despite the car’s age, Mr Cardwell, of Thursby Road, Burnley, is just its third owner.

He is hoping to get £2,500 for the vehicle as he has knocked down the garage he used to store it in to make way for a bungalow.

Mr Cardwell, 52, said: “I would like to see this go to a careful owner, perhaps someone who can enter it into a few shows.
