Unprovoked attack outside Burnley shop


A 26-year-old man suffered a black eye and facial bruising in an unprovoked attack in Burnley.

Police said two men kicked and punched the man as he came out of Heasandford Grocers, in Cleaver Street, at 6pm on Saturday.

He was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
