A CANNABIS farm with more than 150 plants was discovered in a house.

Officers raided a house in Pritchard Street, Burnley, at 1am, after initial reports suggested a man was trying to break into the roof of a house.

A police spokesman said officers attended and discovered a cannabis farm inside the house.

There were 47 plants that had already been harvested, 32 ready for harvesting and 77 infant plants in the loft.

The police spokesman said: "This Cannabis farm has now been destroyed.

"Our communities consistently tell us they don’t want this happening in their area.
