Burnley magistrates court
A MAN has been given a suspended prison sentence after being found guilty of stealing a car.
Magistrates heard how James David Berguist, 37, of Pritchard Street, Burnley, stole a Ford Mondeo valued at £6,200 belonging to Advantage Finance. The offence happened in Grimsby in February 1, 2016. Berguist was sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended for two years, and ordered to pay £6,200 compensation. He must also pay £620 costs and a £115 surcharge.
