POLICE are appealing for information after a car fire in Burnley.

Officers were called at 2.40am on August 22 to reports a vehicle was on fire in The Spinney.

A black Ford Ka was badly damaged during the incident.

Following the incident the victim, a 21-year-old woman, reported her debit card had been taken from the vehicle, with a number of transactions conducted between 3am and 6am on August 22, including some at Asda in Burnley.

After a review of CCTV, police would like to speak to these men, in connection with the offence.

PC Katherine Funnell, of Burnley Police, said: “Do you recognise these men?

“We want to identify them following an arson attack on a vehicle in Burnley.

“One of the men had a distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck. If you recognise him, please contact police immediately.”
