Investigation into suspected arson attempt on mopef
AN investigation has been launched into a suspected arson attempt on a moped.
The fire happened at around 5.10pm on the canal towpath near Colne Road in Burnley.
Nobody was injured in the incident which is now under investigation by both fire and police.
A fire service spokesman said: "Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which they believe was started deliberately.
"Police have been notified of the suspected arson."
