AN East Lancashire Ramblers group have invited people from across the county to walk in the Peak District national park next month.
People from East Lancashire have been invited to embark on East Lancashire Coach Rambler's day-long 'Walks from Hathersage'.
The walk's will start and finish at the village of Hathersage, a small village in the Peak District lying 10 miles south west of Sheffield.
There will be four led walks lasting distances ranging from six to 12 miles
Ramblers will find themselves walking through Stanage Edge where Robin Hood is reputed to have hidden and a churchyard where Little John is buried.
There will be pick up points across East Lancashire on two coaches on the day of the event - Sunday October 1.
The return journey time will be 6:00pm from Hathersage – confirmed on the day.
The walk will cost £13 for adults and £6.50 for children who take part.
