A MAN has appeared in court accused of burglary, making threats and possessing weapons.
Blackburn magistrates heard that on July 26 Darryl Grant Dyson, 23, of Belford Street, Burnley, allegedly burgled a property in Darwin Street, Burnley, and stole two kitchen knives, a hammer, a multi-tool, £10 and a back door key. Dyson is also accused of two counts of possessing an offensive weapon and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Nicola Nadin.
No pleas were entered and Dyson was remanded in custody. He was sent to Burnley Crown Court where he will appear before a judge on August 24.
