FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a grill pan blaze in Padiham.
The incident happened at around 4.40pm in Whitegate Close and three crews attended.
The fire was reported by one of the residents in the house, who called 999 as they escaped.
A fire service spokesman said: "A grill pan had been left unattended long enough to start a fire.
"Casualties at the scene who had breathed in smoke were given oxygen therapy by ambulance paramedics."
