A SERIES of history walks around Burnley’s Weavers’ Triangle are set to restart this Sunday.

Hour-long guided tours of the former cotton heartland, from the visitor centre in Manchester Road, kick off again at 2.15pm.

The volunteer-led walks end at Oak Mount Engine House, in Wiseman Street, off Westgate.

New exhibitions have been devised at the visitor centre for 2017 focusing on the history of Padiham.

Photos from Padiham Archive and contributions from Padiham Photographic Society will feature.

The centre will be open to the public, Saturdays to Tuesdays, from 2pm to 4pm, throughout the summer.
