And last year it sold a Genesys Black console to hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg which is now the centrepiece of his ‘Mothership’ studio.

The company even persuaded the world-renowned rapper to don a Burnley FC shirt.

Bosses at the Billington Road company have said they are celebrating ‘another excellent year’s performance’ by investing more than half a million pounds in advanced manufacturing equipment to meet increased demand.

The investment, which is set to double its printed circuit board production process, is in addition to a further half million pounds recently invested in automatic test and quality control equipment, as well as new Enterprise Resource Planning and advanced assembly guidance software.

More staff have been hired in both manufacturing, research and development departments to support growth.

Mark Crabtree, founder and managing director, said: “We continue to invest heavily in the future to support the growth of the business and to cement our position as the clear first choice of the world’s professional studios, artists and producers.

“Our policy of making products in Burnley as opposed to off-shoring, ensures that our team of assembly engineers remains in daily touch with our designers and customer-facing staff and means we retain 100 per cent quality control, from design to shipping.

“This completely integrated team culture allows us to focus entirely on our clients and providing them with the best sounding, best quality products possible.

“The new investment enables us to gear up output whilst retaining all the best characteristics of this great working environment.”

As well as Snoop Dogg, the company has recently sold sound stages to 20th Century Fox (Los Angeles), Abbey Road Studios and Sony Music (Japan).

The firm also provided the equipment for the sound of the latest James Bond film Spectre in 2015.
