Flash flooding affects Burnley houses
HEAVY rainfall has caused flash flooding in Burnley this evening.
The deluge has affected three houses in Calderbrook Avenue, firefighters have said.
One fire crew from Burnley was called out at around 6.25pm to pump floodwater into a surface water drain.
There were no casualties.
Rossendale Road has also been experiencing heavy flooding. Police officers and Burnley Council have been dealing with this.
