A MAN from Burnley has been jailed for four weeks after pleading guilty to breaching an anti-social behaviour order.

Burnley Magistrates heard Paul Manley, 49, of Holmes Square Gardens, breached the order on October 9 by entering Market Street in Colne.

Manley received no separate penalty after pleading guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person who was likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

That charge relates to the ASBO breach in Market Street on the same day.

He was also ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
