A MAN was deliberately run down and injured by a car in Burnley last night, police said.
The incident happened at around 8.30pm in Church Street.
The man was hit by a Ford Kuga and police say he suffered a broken wrist.
Police have also said that the driver of the car got out and confronted the man after hitting him outside Dixy Chicken.
