A water leak has been reported in the BB12 area of Burnley
HUNDREDS of homes in parts of Burnley have been left without water supplies after a burst pipe was reported in the early hours.
Households across the BB12 postcode area are understood to have been affected by the damaged pipe, after an initial alert at around 4am.

Engineers are understood to be on their way to the scene of the leak, in Wellfield Drive, amid reports of either no water or low water pressure.
A United Utilities spokesman said: "A leak on Wellfield Drive affecting customers in BB12, has been spotted and reported to us.
"Our inspector has been out to have a look and found this to be the cause for some (households) having no water or just a trickle."
