A BURNLEY company has donated a luxury bathroom worth £10,500 to a gala night auction which is raising money for Pendleside Hospice.

Clearly Interiors, of Holme Road, Burnley, who specialise in kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, have offered the bathroom to help boost the Gail Simpson Memorial Fund.

The appeal reaches a pinnacle on Friday, September 25, with a gala dinner at Turf Moor when up to 400 diners are expected to attend.

Directors Adam Schofield and Paul Capstick said Clearly Interiors were honoured to be able to help the hospice cause.

Paul said: “It is an absolutely genuine offer and we hope the bathroom makes as much money for Gail’s fund as possible.

“We intend to supply and fit for free a bathroom of a bidder’s choice to the retail value of £10,500.

“Our offer includes a site survey, preparing a 3D design and then for the bidder to choose the products from a number of collections of bathroom brands. We will then go about fitting and installing the bathroom.

“Obviously there will be a set of terms and conditions to comply with the £10,500 limit.”

John Riding will be the auctioneer and compere on the night when there are some other outstanding items up for grabs.

Stars of the show are comedian Phil Walker along with 10-piece soul band Soul Convicts and table magician James Hutchinson.

There will also be a questions and answers session with former Burnley manager Stan Ternent and Radion 5 Live presenter Tony Livesey.

Tickets cost £35 per head or a table of 10 for £300.

The evening includes a three-course dinner.

Tickets are available from Pendleside Hospice Fundraising, Colne Road, Reedley, 01282 440120, or from Alan Simpson 07786658598.

Cheques should be made payable to Pendleside Hospice.

The organisers are also staging a bumper raffle during the evening and anyone who has a prize to donate should contact Alan Simpson.
