Parveen Akhtar, prosecut-ing, said Miss Clarke ended the relationship before Christmas but White struggled with that.
“Around Christmas she decided to end all contact but he kept contacting her by phone and text,” said Miss Akhtar. “When she blocked his number he turned up at her house demanding to know if she had a new boyfriend and started contacting her through friends. At one stage he slashed a tyre on her car.”

“When we split up I helped her move into her new place and I helped her with money for a deposit,” he said.
