Pioneering women's cricketer Kate Cross, who recently became the first woman to play in the Central Lancashire League, visited a Burnley Primary school yesterday.
The cricketer teamed up with the Lancashire Development Officer for Women's Cricket, Jen Laycock, as part of the Chance to Shine scheme.
The national charity works to inspire children across the country to take up the sport and to reverse the decline of cricket in schools.
