BURNLEY FC are top of the Premier League . . . well, sort of.
Thanks to Sean Dyche’s genius tactical stroke of fielding a squad of 11 hunks, the Clarets have been voted the sexiest football team in the league.
Soccer stars such as Jason Shackell, George Boyd, Scott Arfield and Danny Ings have helped the team pip Liverpool and Arsenal to the top spot in a fans’ poll by Paddy Power.

The bookies surveyed 250 women, who cast their eyes over 300 of the nation’s top footballers.
However, the ‘hot or not’ online contest was restricted to the top flight, so it remains unknown who would emerge victorious in a clash with fierce rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Defender Shackell, 31, amassed a horde of female fans after playing a cameo role in hit semi-scripted American reality TV series The Hills while playing for Wolves in 2007.
He was voted the fifth hottest player in the entire league, behind Arsenal’s French heart-throb Olivier Giroud at number one, Sunderland defender Santiago Vergini at two, and Leicester’s Matty James - born and bred in Bacup - and Paul Konchesky at three and four.
And while Scott Arfield came off worse after conceding a penalty to Man United’s £60 million superstar Angel Di Maria during Burnley’s 3-1 defeat on Wednesday, it was a different story away from the pitch.
While Argentine Di Maria was voted the ninth ugliest player, with a rating of just 34.3 out of 100, Arfield was named the third best looking at Burnley, behind Shackell and George Boyd, and 34th overall.
Clarets fan and school teacher Lizzy Dixon, 30, shares a season ticket in the Bob Lord stand.
She said: “To be honest, this surprises me.
“I’ve not thought about it much but Sam Vokes is easy on the eye.
“Above all though I don’t go to watch the men I go to watch the football and I think that’s the same for all female fans.”
Joanne Green, who regularly tweets about all things Burnley through her Twitter handle @TurfmoorJo, said she was also surprised Sam Vokes was overlooked.

She said: “My number one is Scott Arfield.
“My number two would be Sam Vokes and my number three is Sean Dyche. It’s that grizzly voice.
“Am I available and single? Yes I am.”
A spokesman for Burnley FC declined to comment.
