Football fan arrested on M6 after hit and run in Burnley
A FOOTBALL fan was arrested on the M6 motorway by police investigating a hit and run in Burnley on Saturday.
Officers pulled over a 45-year-old man, from Southampton, after a 13-year-old girl was hit by a red Seat Leon in Parliament Street at around 5pm.

The teenager suffered minor cuts to her head and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for a check-up.
She had been discharged yesterday.
The 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of offences under the Road Traffic Act, police said.
