PART of a listed Padiham building could be turned into a home after plans were lodged to convert it.
Burnley-based Fitzgerald Planning and Design has submitted an application to turn the second floor of the former NatWest bank building into a dwelling.
The bank, in Burnley Road, is now closed and the application seeks to reinstate seven dormers facing onto Burnley Road and Eccleshill Road.
The Grade II listed building, which falls within the Padiham Town Centre Conservation Area, was built in 1901 and is also home to a hairdressers, an insurance company and a cellar.
In a planning statement, Fitzgerald said: "The proposal seeks to enhance a listed building and secure its future viability without causing any harm to its significance."
