BRITAIN’S Got Talent singer Andrew Derbyshire will perform in his home town with members of Burnley’s Basics Junior Theatre School this weekend.
He will appear at a two-date show at Burnley Mechanics on Saturday and Sunday to say thank-you for all the support he received during his stint on the show.
Andrew, 31, narrowly missed a place in the final. He also took part in Pop Idol in 2001 and has appeared in West End productions of We Will Rock You and Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
He will perform Joseph numbers from his time playing the lead role, and students from Basics, a school Andrew attended for 10 years, will sing along.
Tickets for the shows, at 7pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday, cost £18 or £17 for concessions. On Sunday, children can enter for £10.
