A GROUP of friends are limbering up for the Pennine 10k in Burnley to raise money for a children’s charity.
The three women will tackle the run on Sunday to support Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.
The team includes Lisa O’Neil, Rosalyn Plum and Melanie Croasdale and they are being supported by Blackburn’s Abbey Telecom.
Team fundraiser Alison Raynor said: “We’ve put together a close knit team and can’t wait for the challenge to come.
“We’ll all be pulling together to make a really good day of it and hopefully raise plenty of funds for Derian House.”
The run has been organised by the Jane Tomlinson For All Events organisation, To donate funds visit http://www.justgiving.com/AbbeyDerian
