A DRUG dealer has been jailed after admitting flooding the streets of Blackburn with illegal party drugs.

Graham Stead, of School Lane, Blackburn, admitted possessing amphetamine with a street value of £10,000, as well as five nine-ounce bars of cannabis and 109 tablets of diazepam and a quantity of Mephedrone.

The 45-year-old was arrested by police on May 23 in Blackburn following a long investigation.

After appearing at Preston Crown Court, Stead pleaded guilty to drug possession and intent to supply.

Judge Michael Byrne jailed Stead for three years.

He also ordered police to destroy all the drugs they confiscated from Stead when he was arrested.
