'Thriving' Accrington Market is almost full

A MARKET is said to be thriving after a ‘year to remember’.

Hyndburn Council has announced Accrington Market is now almost fully occupied after its £2million investment, and this summer’s visit from the Queen.

After attracting four new stallholders, Coun Clare Pritchard said they were pleased to announce the market was nearly at full capacity. The deputy leader and cabinet member for markets said: “It’s certainly been a year to remember for the market traders and visitors alike.

“It’s great to be able to announce that the market hall is now almost fully occupied, with four well- established traders moving in this year to enhance the fantastic range of products and services already on offer.”
