Rishton singers in appeal for new recruits
2:50pm Tuesday 2nd October 2012 in News
A RISHTON-based singing group is looking for new members to fill vacancies.
The “A Cappella Singers” are due to sing at four different concerts in the area in the coming months, and say they are anxious to appoint new members soon.
The group says that singers must be confident in singing in the soprano, alto, or tenor sections.
New members must be able to read music, and have reasonable sight reading. Rehearsals are every Wednesday, in Wilpshire, from 7.45pm.
Prospective members are invited to attend three rehearsals before they make up their minds whether to join. Further details can be obtained from secretary Lucy Peat on 01254 249280, or chairman David Cockett on 01254 885949, or visit www.acappellasingers.co.uk
