Workshops advice for Darwen businesses

A NEW range of sessions to help business people in East Lancashire have been organised by Darwen Creates.

The action group works with a number of local businesses to deliver a series of workshops designed for people who are thinking about starting, have recently started or run their own business.

The programme provides expert advice delivered by entrepreneurs with a wealth of experience.

All workshops take place on a Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Darwen Academy in Redearth Road and most are free.

Sessions include advice on how to set up a business, basic legal and financial information, how to create a web presence, and the basics of marketing.

The next session takes place on October 16 and is an introduction to the world of social media.
