Darwen junior football club wins top FA development award

DARWEN Rangers Junior Football Club has won the The FA Charter Standard Development Club Award at the inaugural FA Community Awards. An award spokesman said: “This is a tremendous achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication you and all at the club have shown over the course of the past year.”
In recognition of the club’s success, an invitation has been issued for a club member to attend The FA Community Awards at The Wembley Hilton, followed by seats at the England v San Marino World Cup qualifier on October 12.
