Darwen library hosts talk by writer

A LOCAL author is to hold a talk on how to become a published writer.
Kevin Cookson will be at Darwen Library on Monday, September 24 at 7pm to speak about his books and his experiences getting them into print.
He writes sci-fi and fantasy for young adults and at first struggled to get his work noticed. Now he has published two books, ‘The Trouble with Clouds’ and ‘3.8’. His first published work featured at the London Book Fair on the insistence of his publishers. His books are widely available online.
