Fundraising meal to help Darwen girl's cause

RAFFLE and auction prizes are needed for a charity event to mark what would have been Madison Allan ’s eighth birthday.

Since her death last Boxing Day due to an aggressive neuroblastoma cancer, her family have set up the Maddi’s Butterflies charity to treat other children with cancer as well as providing support for their families.

To raise funds, a birthday bash is being held at the Whitehall Hotel, Darwen, on September 22 featuring a three-course meal and singing by ex-Coronation Street star Scott Wright.
