Langho man stole property after row with mum
10:35am Thursday 9th August 2012 in News
A 21-year-old Langho man who was kicked out after a row with his mum went back and stole a £2,000 watch and computer equipment worth £1,440.
Blackburn magistrates heard the falling out took place while Simon Bury’s dad was away on business.
But Peter King, defending, said the relationship with his parents had now been repaired.
Bury, of Bushburn Drive, Langho, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft. He was made subject to community supervision for 12 months and ordered to do 150 hours unpaid work and pay £85 costs.
Mr King said Bury had been working in the family business when he had the row with his mother while his dad was away in China. The family had paid £500 to recover the watch but the computer equipment had not been found.
