Bail refused for Darwen sex case man

A DARWEN man accused of sexually grooming and assaulting two 14-year-old girls has had his application for bail denied.
Nicholas Fay, 23, of Sandringham Road, Darwen was remanded into custody at Preston Crown Court yesterday.
He will appear next at Blackburn Magistrates Court so the case can officially be committed to the crown court.
The prosecution says police are still investigating more than 28,000 text messages found on a mobile phone.
