Skydive in memory of Darwen brother

FUNDRAISER Leah Nixon FUNDRAISER Leah Nixon

A DAREDEVIL from Darwen is to do a charity skydive in memory of her brother.

Leah Nixon’s brother Paul died aged 27 in November, just two months after being diagnosed with a sarcoma tumour.

And Leah, 22, of Huntingdon Drive, will take to the skies on Saturday, June 23, as part of Sarcoma UK Awareness Week.

Leah said: “I want to raise as much money for this terrible disease as possible in Paul’s memory.

“I want to raise money and awareness so that other people do not have to suffer the way he did.

“My brother was taken too soon and I want to raise as much money as possible in his memory.”

To donate, visit www.justgiving.com/Leah-Nixon or text “MIRI71” followed by the amount, between £1 and £10, to 70070.
