A TEENAGER has shown she is a cut above the competition after taking over the running of a salon at the age of 19.
Binean Kadhim is now the proud owner of Heiress Hairdresser’s in Whalley Old Road, Blackburn.
The salon used to be known as Hannah’s. Binean said she was excited by the challenge after putting her savings and some help from her family together to buy the business.
The former apprentice at Dark Secrets hair salon in Blackburn town centre studied at Blackburn College, achieving a level three in hairdressing.
