A FAMILY-of-three evacuated their home after the bedroom caught fire last night.
Fire crews were called to an incident involving a fire in a first floor bedroom at a house in Milton Street, Padiham, just after 9pm yesterday.
A woman and two men evacuated from the house after the fire started and severe fire damage was caused to the bedroom.
One of the homeowners was checked for smoke inhalation at the scene by paramedics as a precautionary measure and the patient was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
A fire spokesman said there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
