TODAY’S delve into the Lancashire Telegraph archives has unearthed this photograph from 1966.

The world famous Bluebell Girls were the special guests at Dutton’s Brewery in Blackburn. The girls took time off from appearing with Ken Dodd in Blackpool to travel to Eanam to help the brewery open its newest pub.

Tom’s Inn - named after founder Thomas Dutton - was based in the brewery at Eanam and would be used to entertain the many visitors.

Managing director Mr J A R Kay is pictured with the Bluebell Girls.
