A MAN was caught in the act trying to steal £2,100 worth of clothes from a shop.
Police were called out to an 'upmarket clothing retailer' in Blackburn town centre at 2.30am today.
A police spokesman said: "Glad to report that a burglar was caught in the act with stolen loot valued at £2100 leaving the premises.
"He was swiftly arrested for the burglary and possession of a bladed article."
