What could be better than a Christmas dinner pie? A Christmas dinner pie covered in glitter, obviously.

For the first time ever, Lancashire baker Holland’s Pies is getting into the festive spirit by creating a Christmas Dinner pie.

The pie is filled with diced roast turkey breast, chipolata sausage, pork stuffing balls, mini roast potatoes and chunks of smoked bacon, shrouded in a cranberry and herb gravy.

Lancashire Telegraph:

It is even covered in edible glitter, and Lancashire Telegraph reporter Neil Athey was among one of the first to try it out.

He gave the festive feast a resounding thumbs up, scoring it 10 out of 10 on the pie-o-meter.

Holland’s may look to introduce the pie permanently to its range next year, should the trial be successful.

Lancashire Telegraph:

But you could get your hands on one tomorrow, by heading to the Holland’s Pies Facebook and Twitter pages at 9am for instructions on how to enter their Christmas Dinner pie competition.

Five lucky winners will be chosen after the competition closes at 9am on Monday, December 18, each winning a pie just in time for Christmas.

Leanne Holcroft, Brand Manager at Holland’s Pies, said: “We want to give back to our loyal customers this festive season and what better way than free pie-tastic Christmas Dinner pies!

“This is a first for Holland’s and we’re looking forward to seeing who ends up as the lucky winners – who knows, they could be tucking into a delicious pie on Christmas Day!

“Keep your eyes peeled in 2018 too as this trial could mean introducing the pie to our range next Christmas.”
